Techniques like Scope modeling or Context diagrams also allow early discussions on the main (business) events — ie, prior to the solution events — and external entities that surround our problem. Processmodeling may be used to document the “as is” process. It serves as an output of the two previous tasks.
Note that some techniques listed are actually a group of techniques such as acceptance and evaluation criteria are two different techniques listed under one technique, or processmodeling which includes a number of processmodels under that technique, while other techniques on the list cover only one concept.
