What Is BusinessAnalysis What is businessanalysis? Who is a business analyst? Because of this, I decided to make a BusinessAnalysis Essentials series on the Passionate Business Analyst YouTube channel, explaining all the basics! and “What do Business Analysts do?”
Process modeling is one of the core competencies of any capable business analyst. Both the International Institute of BusinessAnalysis (IIBA) BusinessAnalysis Standard [1], and the Project Management Institute (PMI) Guide to BusinessAnalysis [2] call for certified business analysts to be capable of preparing and using process models.
Whereas BPM, or Business Process Management, is the strategic planning of the management and maintenance of the workflow in order to improve the efficiency of the existing business processes and the overall organization with a long-term string of procedures that acts as the backbone for all business processes.
Although business analyst has a set of common skills, the ways in which they use those skills depend on the project they are working on, the organization they work for, the products they are responsible for, and their industry. Moreover, to apply for a business analyst fresher role, many employers also look for industry exposure.
In my research, I could not find a completely free business analyst training course anywhere in a structured manner, chapter-wise. But some websites did have multiple businessanalysis-related videos and I have tried to put them in a sequence for easy viewing and comprehension. Some of these webinars are free for everyone.
