But what Scrum lacks in my mind, is a way to involve the key stakeholders in strategic product decisions and the product discovery work. That’s understandable, as the framework is focused on the development of complex products. I believe that the first definition is more helpful, especially in an agile context.
Under each sub-team, we have a productmanager, business analyst and scrum master. Now, the whole sub-team sits together and discusses the product features, communicates them to the designers and works on them with the developers. Our productmanager focuses on the timelines and sets aside the priorities, which is his strength.
Note that you may want to make the measures as specific as you can and state, for instance, the title of the books you intend to read.
