Not that long ago, the Disciplined Agile people underwent a change where they stopped referring to DA as a “process decision framework” and began calling Disciplined Agile a toolkit.

2016: Oracle launches with competencies across compute, storage, and networking. 2018: IoT and edge computing open up new opportunities for organizations. Kubernetes is still being explored widely as the technology for agile practices. It is faster and more scalable than Virtual Machines. More on Kubernetes soon.
Even though some more progress was made, in January of 2018, we decided to take a step back and rethink our approach to this project. The agility and complexity needed in those components are such that we needed to use a lot of frameworks that come with Java and focus only on our application logic without compromising on performance.
